About Us
At UniBio Intelligence, we push the boundaries of computational biology through intelligent software solutions. Our mission is to transform biological data into actionable insights with intuitive no-code tools. We combine deep domain expertise with cutting-edge data engineering, machine learning, AI, and cloud technologies to empower biotech researchers and bioengineers worldwide.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer (Contract) to work with us on our product development. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to apply modern software engineering practices to build next-generation tools for computational biology. You'll contribute to developing robust, user-friendly applications that help scientists analyze and interpret complex biological data — without needing to write code.
What You'll Do
- •Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications and APIs for our no-code platform.
- •Build user interfaces that make advanced analytics accessible to non-programmers.
- •Implement cloud-based services and ensure robust integration with large-scale data storage solutions.
- •Use modern AI/LLM tools to accelerate development, automate tasks, and improve product usability.
- •Participate in code reviews and write clear documentation.
What We're Looking For
- •A recent graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- •Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar modern programming language.
- •Experience building AI-native web applications (frameworks like React or Vue.js and Next.js are a plus).
- •Familiarity with SQL and modern databases and data lakes (PostgreSQL, DuckDB, Iceberg, Ducklake etc.).
- •Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure).
- •Experience using large language models (LLMs) or AI tools in development.
- •Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
- •An interest in making complex scientific workflows more accessible — experience in computational biology is a big plus!
