UniBio Intelligence Selected for Anthropic’s Rare Disease Research Program

UniBio Intelligence has been selected for Anthropic’s AI for Science rare disease research program. The award provides Claude usage credits to support RareDose, our research project connecting source-traceable evidence with quantitative pharmacology models for rare diseases.
We join a cohort of 100 projects covering more than 75 named rare conditions. The program brings together researchers exploring how AI can help advance rare disease science and therapeutic development.
About RareDose
RareDose starts with complement-mediated rare disease, focusing on atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS). We are exploring how published evidence can be assembled into reproducible models of drug exposure and biological response, with each assumption linked to its source and a clear account of where the evidence is strong and where more data are needed.
Claude will help with evidence curation, model implementation, and documentation. The project pairs that assistance with numerical simulation and expert review, aiming to make fragmented evidence easier to inspect, test, and reuse. This is research-stage work to evaluate modeling methods and inform future studies.
